We are happy to share that the Executive Director of Centre for Women Studies and Intervention (CWSI), Sister Francisca Ngozi Uti, co-authored an article titled “Women in G20 Interfaith Initiatives: Challenges for Africa” alongside Katherine Marshall. The article emphasizes the urgent need to transition from conversation to concrete action in advancing women’s leadership and inclusion, particularly in Africa, within the framework of the G20 Interfaith Forum.
The piece highlights how women especially those from religious and grassroots communities—are essential to shaping inclusive policies and sustainable development. It further discusses the structural barriers they face and calls for bold, intentional efforts to ensure women’s full participation in governance and decision-making processes.
