Santa Clara University announced on July 30th, 2024, that the Centre for Women Studies and Intervention is one of the three finalists for the prestigious Opus Prize 2024.

To select the finalists, the University convened over 30 experts who confidentially identified and researched potential nominees. Thirteen leaders from business, government, athletics, and nonprofits served as jurors, choosing the three finalists. Additionally, 16 campus members, acting as ambassadors, assisted the Opus Prize Foundation in conducting due-diligence visits of the finalists before the announcement.

“The organizations discovered by our partner Santa Clara University are doing wondrous work, grounded in faith and the dignity of all persons,” said Daniel McGinty, Executive Director of the Opus Prize Foundation. “They are a devout and effective group, and a fitting tribute to nearly 20 years of the Opus Prize Foundation seeking to identify unsung heroes who see problems and can’t look away.”
