To address and ultimately eradicate the obnoxious acts of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), CWSI with the finding support of the MacArthur Foundation, conducted a research in three communities across Imo and Cross River State in 2010. This research focused on three specific practices: “Money Woman”, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), and Widowhood, aiming to uncover the root causes and suggest potential solutions.
