Centre For Women Studies and Intervention, received funding support from Development and Peace (Canada), the Centre for Women Studies and Intervention (CWSI) to implement the “Communities Mobilizing to Stop Gender-Based Violence and Human Trafficking (GBV-HT)” in Cross River State. The Phase 1 of the project was implemented across three Local Government Areas (LGAs): Bekwarra, Yala, and Ogoja. Its primary focus is to raise awareness about GBV and HT while facilitating the amendment of customary laws to prevent these harmful practices.
