CWSI Commence Year 2 of the Empowering Women and Youth Smallholder Farmers in the Groundnut Market System Development Project in the F.C.T

CWSI has commenced the second year of implementation of the “Empowering Women and Youth Smallholder Farmers in the Groundnut Market System Development in the FCT” project in Bamishi Community, Kuje Area Council, and Paiko Community, Gwagwalada Area Council.

Funded by Catholic Agency For Overseas Development (CAFOD), the project aims to strengthen the economic resilience of women and youth smallholder farmers through improved access to market opportunities, value addition, and the promotion of climate-smart agricultural practices.

Building on the successes recorded during the pilot phase, the project will continue to empower farmers with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to improve productivity, increase incomes, and enhance sustainable livelihoods.
